- College Baseball

- Be My Denver Valentine Treasure Hunt

- Colorado Garden & Home Show

- Applewood Bridal Fair

- Home and Garden Bazaar

- Rocky Mountain Thyagaraja Utsavam
- Early in March, DesiShades and Bhairavi School of Music welcome Colorado Rasikas to pay tribute to the composers, philosophers and musicians of the past who made an everlasting contribution to the Indian heritage, featuring a number of talents and guest artists rendering masterpieces of Indian classical music. - St. Patrick’s Day Parade

- Major League Baseball
- Nothing signals advent of spring more than baseball with a capital B, tightly meshed into American culture with historic firsts, icon performances, record-setting events, and traditions from hot dogs slathered in mustard to unexpected curveballs, and seventh-inning stretches. Books and movies about baseball are fine and dandy, but nothing beats Major League Baseball action, playing out each season from April through the World Series.

- Colorado Womens' Expo

- HRC Mile High Gala
- In late April, the Human Rights Campaign hosts its annual gala at EXDO Events Center in northeastern Denver, featuring a fundraiser dinner, dance and well known speakers. Call (303) 394-0808 for more information.
- Single Malt & Scotch Whisky Extravaganza
- At the end of April, the Brown Palace Hotel is the site for a connoisseur's evening co-hosted by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society and Robb Report, featuring 80 single malt Scotch whiskies as well as whiskies from Ireland, Japan and New Zealand, where guest can sample the best of the world's whiskies and converse with experts representing the finest distilleries. - Washington Park Home Tour
- Over Mother's Day weekend, several of Denver's finest homes in the Washington Park neighborhood, both new and old, are open for tours to benefit Steele Elementary School and Denver Public Schools Outreach program for homeless students. Call (303) 744-1717 for more information.
- Furry Scurry
- This annual two-mile walk or run through Washington Park with or without canine accompaniment benefits the Denver Dumb Friends League and the area’s homeless animals. Call (303) 696-4941 for more information.
- Cinco de Mayo
- Billed as the largest Cinco de Mayo event in the United States, this annual extravaganza draws more than 400,000 to Civic Center Park where hundreds of booths sell Latino food, crafts and art. Call (303) 534-8342 for more information.
- Mile High Amazing Race
- Based on the popular television series, in mid-May teams race to checkpoints, perform tasks and conquer challenges along the way, starting from downtown Denver around the Pepsi Center, to benefit the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Call (720) 341-3857 for more information.
- Colorado Corks and Cuisine

- DAM Uncorked

- Java Fest

- Home Builders Foundation Gala
- In mid-May, the Home Builders Foundation of Metro Denver holds its annual gala at the Inverness Hotel & Conference Center, in Englewood, featuring dinner, live entertainment and a silent auction, to provide housing accessibility for handicapped persons and victims of tragic circumstances. - Downtown Denver Arts Festival

- Greek Festival

- Summer Art Market (SAM)
- For more than a decade, the Summer Art Market (SAM), sponsored by the Art Students League of Denver, has been a magnet for art savvy buyers and collectors, providing opportunity to mingle with artisans and buy affordable art in a relaxed neighborhood setting. - Juneteenth

- Fiesta Aurora

- Do at the Zoo

- Cherry Creek Arts Festival

- Wild Nights at Denver Zoo

- Colorado Gay Rodeo

- Cherry Creek North Sidewalk Sale

- Colorado Irish Festival

- Summer Brew Fest
- In mid to late July, the main lot A of Coors Field hosts over 25 state and local breweries offering over 70 Colorado crafted beers, accompanied by live entertainment, to celebrate the state's craft beverages and to benefit the Colorado Environmental Coalition, sponsored by 102.3 KCUV and 105.5 Jack FM. - Firefighters Appreciation Day

- Denver Grand Prix

- SunStock Unknownfest

- Art from the Heart

- September
- National Football League
- If it’s fall and you’re ready for some football, count on the National Football League to deliver non-stop grid action, leading to playoffs, and the incomparable Super Bowl. The NFL has come a long way since its 1920 founding in Canton, Ohio at Ralph Hay’s Hupmobile dealership. NFL action was first televised in 1939 when NBC broadcast within New York City. The NFL’s Longest Day was on Christmas, 1971, in a playoff between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins, and Miami’s 17-0 Perfect Season unfolded the following year. But that’s history, and prospects for new milestones start in September.

- College Football
- NCAA Football, created in 1997 to promote college football ideals, makes no bones about the importance of each game. Losing at any time during the season can thwart a team's chances for postseason action or an NCAA Championship. No wonder NCAA Football marketers have adopted a tagline of "NCAA Football: Every Game Counts."

- Corn Maze
- On every weekend during September and October, Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield features a 9-foot tall walk-in corn stalk maze, along with a mini-maze for younger children. - Colorado European Festival
- On the first Sunday in September, Civic Green Park in Highlands Ranch hosts European performers, chefs, musicians and artists to delight the senses with the best in food and entertainment that Europe has to offer, with proceeds benefitting the Highlands Ranch Veteran's Memorial Monument in Civic Green Park. - Colorado Performing Arts Festival

- Red Rocks Run and Roll
- Amid mountain environs of Red Rocks Amphitheatre, more than 4,000 runners experience the rapture of racing along a course with occasional bald eagle sightings. - In mid-September, concurrent with the Colorado Fossil Expo, the Denver Merchandise Mart hosts the largest regional arts and crafts exhibition of lapidary and earth sciences dealers and hobbyists, including a walking dinosaur and gold panning lessons for kids, speakers and free mineral and gem identification. - Arvada Harvest Festival

- Firebird Festival: A Taste of Russia

- El Grito de la Independencia Fiesta

- Larimar Square’s Oktoberfest

- Taste of Cherry Creek

- Vintage Harvest Festival
- Food, wine and the arts take center stage when the Winery at Holy Cross Abbey near Canon City hosts the Vintage Harvest Festival, with an eclectic mix of local produce, a fiesta-style grape crush, Mexican buffet, belly dancers and fine art. - Haunted Houses at Corn Maze
- In mid-September to late October, Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield's Corn Maze features two haunted houses: "The 25th Hour" and "The Butcher," and other Halloween festivities. Call (720) 865-3500 for more information.
- October
- National Hockey League
- The National Hockey League’s rough and tumble world packs a motherlode of milestones, from 1917’s NHL opener, to when Maurice Richard was first to score 50 goals in one season in 1944-45, to when Clint Benedict was the first goalie to put on a mask after a shot knocked him unconscious, to when Manon Rheaume made headlines in 1992 as the first woman playing in one of the four major sports leagues, goaltending for the Tampa Bay Lightning against the St. Louis Blues. From October on, it’s non-stop action in the world of hat tricks -- three goals in a game by a player -- and sudden death overtime.

- MileHiCon

- Boo at the Zoo

- Knock Your Boots Off Beer Tasting and Chili Cookoff

- Pumpkin Festival

- Night on the Town - Black-Footed Ferret Benefit

- Victorian Fetish Ball

- Haunted Animal Hospital and Purr-Fect Howl-O-Ween Fundraiser
- During the week preceding Halloween, North Metro Vet Hostpital at I-70 and Peco Street hosts Denver's only haunted animal hospital and fundraiser, featuring pet psychics, animal caricature artists, photographers, pet vendors, raffles, a low-cost vaccination clinic, dog wash, and more. - Stepping Stones to Success Dinner

- Red Bull SoapBox Race

- Haunted Hunt

- College Basketball
- First devised by James Naismith in 1891, with the first recorded collegiate game in 1893, legions testify there’s no sound so soothing as a basketball whooshing through the net after a flick of the wrist. NCAA basketball brings grass roots hoop dreams to an entirely new level each fall, building toward March Madness, the NCAA Division Basketball Championships.

- During the first week in November, the University of Denver's School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management hosts the Chef's Wine and Food Competition, the student-crafted Vintners' Grand Dinner, and the Grand Tasting of International Wines and Food where hundreds of wines from over 19 countries will be featured.
